North Dakota Youth Soccer Association Appeal Denied
FSC Player's Rights Upheld
Fargo, ND, September 25, 2008. The Fargo Soccer Club (FSC) was informed on September 25, 2008 that the appeal of the North Dakota Youth Soccer Association (NDYSA) was denied by the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) Board of Directors (BOD). The USSF BOD was the last straw for the NDYSA which had sought to deny the FSC from playing in the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Soccer League (FMWFSL). The August 14, 2008 ruling by the Hearing Examiner required that the FMWFSL be open to FSC's players and teams. Ever since, the 10 FSC kindergarten teams have been playing in the FMWFSL. The Hearing Examiner's decision, the appeal of the NDYSA, the response by the FSC and the USSF BOD's final decision can all be found in the Documents section of the FSC website.
